A letter to Elizabeth of the Not so United Kingdom

As Britain sinks beneath the waves we once ruled and the entrenched classes continue to hang onto 90% of the wealth, it would seem time for a change.

The last time there was such a divide between the haves and have nots was in the 1640's. when Charles I thought he was appointed by God and ignored the people he ruled. Apparently,  God didn't agree and Charles ended up having his head chopped off because of his lack of being in touch with reality.

I am not suggesting that we chop Elizabeth's head off, but I do believe it is time that she and her family realised what century they are living in.In case you hadn't noticed guys there are no longer serfs treading the dung into your fields, although to see how your clan behave it would seem that is what you still believe should be the case.

While ''Your People'' (your words not mine) slowly slip down the hill of debt and degradation and your country disappears beneath the waves, you cling to your wealth with a grip of iron.

I am not expecting you to live in a council house like Sue Townsend wrote. I'm not asking that you be dethroned.....all I'm asking is that you chip in. Pay tax on your real earnings....not just the 2 to 3 million you claim as earnings... you are worth officially 420 million, but that doesn't include all the palaces and stuff in them...no...they belong to us apparently. Maybe I was out that day but I never got my door keys for Buck House.

Under your many palaces are strongrooms filled with precious objects that were given to you and your ancestors as heads of state...not for your personal use.

Everyday we are told that we must tighten our belts and give up just a little bit more for another few years to repair an economy broken by the ruling class yet I don't see any evidence of the ruling class tightening their belts

Well guys it has come the time to route in the cellars and sell off some of those objects that belong to the country. I am sure that we could pay off the 80 billion we still owe and make the UK debt free overnight.

Imagine if we didn't have to service that massive debt. But, of course its those same people who hold the debt and they are being paid obscene amounts of interest on that debt, so why would they want it cleared.

All the current woes are being blamed on the money we owe. Well I'm paying back my debts myself. No one has stepped in and said its ok your too rich to pay tax or have any kind of financial input to the country you rule.;

I realise this is a simplistic answer but all that treasure belongs to the country maybe, instead of walking round the bank of England's vaults and making snide comments about there not being much gold left, you should walk around your treasure vaults and think not what my country can do for me, but what I can do for my country...ma am.

I realise that I am talking to myself and even people who bother to read this far will be saying ...''Yeah , but what can you do?''

Well for a start we can all send a letter to Buck palace and 10 Downing Street suggesting that we sell off all the stuff hidden in those cellars...or put it all on display so that we the people can at least see what we own.

But of course if you did that you truly would have a revolution on your hands, when people saw what you were hoarding.

If anyone would like to explain to me why we can't sell this stuff off now we need it then I would love to hear from you. I am not getting into a republican debate here, I just want to know why we...the poor people....have to suffer when our queen is hiding the answer to our problems in her vaults.

If she won't let the country sell it then it can only be considered to belong to her and be included in her next tax return and maybe we can get some use out of it that way.

After all 2 generations ago you were a German speaking family with no realistic right for being rulers of the United Kingdom. Your claim was based on being the nearest family to the already disgraced Stuarts....but we don;t talk about that do we....lets make this the last generation of hangers on and maybe this country stands a chance of getting on it's feet.

Your humble servant ma am
Ian Jameson
